Eric Sutton, Pastor
Bro. Eric Sutton was saved at the age of six at the Riverview Heights Baptist Church in Wauchula, Florida. He surrendered to the ministry on September 23, 2001 and has endeavored to serve the Lord ever since. Bro. Eric has a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Arts from Emmaus Baptist College in Brandon, Florida. He has served as the Pastor of Central Baptist Church in Arcadia, Florida, and the Associate Pastor of the Lone Oak Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida. He also served as a faculty member at Emmaus Baptist College. Bro. Eric came to New Home in October of 2011. It is his desire for New Home to be a place where Christ is exalted, the Father is glorified, the Spirit is free to move, and the Scriptures are cherished.
Paul East, Minister of Visitation
Bro. Paul East was saved at 21 years of age at Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka, Alabama, in May 1995. It was here that he surrendered to preach under the ministry of Leonard Harold Hill. At Calvary Baptist, Bro. Paul served as youth minister for two years until leaving to interim pastor for one year at Antioch Baptist Church in Titus, Alabama. Bro. Paul now has his membership at New Home Baptist Church where he has attended since 2006. He serves at New Home in the roles of Minister of Visitation, Sunday School teacher, and lay minister under the Pastoral Ministry of Bro. Eric Sutton. Bro. Paul’s daily goal and desire is for New Home Baptist Church to fulfill its role in the Great Commission which is of extreme urgency.
John Morrow, Senior's Minister
Bro. John Morrow was saved at the age of 34 at the First Baptist Church in Richland, Washington, under the preaching of Brother Nile Fisher. He was baptized and became Sunday School teacher of 12 deacons sons. He moved back to Arkansas in 1957, surrendered to preach at Fair View Baptist Church under Bro. Walt Branscum’s preaching. Bro. John did much preaching and was called to pastor the Canaan Baptist Church at Marshall, Arkansas, in June of 1958. He has been pastoring churches for 54 years. Bro. John is a strong supporter of our associated effort in mission work at home and foreign lands. It is his desire to see souls saved and to serve the Lord and the seniors at New Home Baptist Church.
Josh Simpson, Youth Minister
Bro. Joshua Simpson was saved at the age of six. Growing up, he desired to be a pediatrician, but at 16 years old God called him into ministry where he would be able help young people in an
eternal capacity. From the moment Bro. Josh surrendered to ministry he served in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Church Camp, and anywhere else God would use him. He was the Youth Pastor at First Thonotosassa Missionary Baptist Church before coming to New Home in May 2013. He has a bachelor’s degree of Religion in Ministry from Luther Rice University in Lithonia, Georgia, where he’ll continue his education. He met his best friend and wife, Kimberly at church camp; together they have two beautiful sons, Barrett and Benjamin. Bro. Josh’s greatest desire is to see the young people of New Home Baptist Church recognize their purpose and significance in God’s Kingdom.
